Visit Troika Gallery

Susan Icove is one of the three owners of Troika, a contemporary crafts gallery in downtown Floyd, Virginia. The owners’ individual tastes and design sensibilities have turned the intimate space into a refreshing surprise.

A step through the doors of Troika is a step into New York City.

Susan’s lamps and candleholders blend seamlessly with the work of her two co-owners:

Gibby Waitzkin’s works on paper are handmade by the artist, using local plant fibers, encaustic preserved flowers and leaves, and photographic image. Filled with botanical, historical, and personal reference, her works on paper awake the viewer’s sense of wonder.

Silvie Granatelli’s porcelain pottery is rooted in the traditions of food and hospitality.  Her graceful forms echo the natural world, animal life, and the human body, and bring ritual and ceremony to the table.

The gallery also features artisan wood furniture handcrafted by Brad Warstler, Don George, Benjamin Osborne, and Phoenix Hardwoods.
